This Privacy Policy describes the information we process and store to support dining.io and its affiliated applications and software incorporated in Hong Kong SAR as DINE-O Limited.

Information we collect and how we use it.

  • Financial Data, which includes credit card, debit card or other payment card details.

  • Profile Data, which includes your username and password, your dining interests, food allergies and preferences.

  • Place a booking or reservation with any restaurant on our network.

  • Subscribe to receive marketing communications or personalised services through our website or applications.

  • Register as a user on our platforms.

  • Give us feedback or any form of communication with us.

We will never sell or distribute any of your personal or contact information. Any information that is used is hashed and only accessible by select employees with the highest level of clearance. We only share personal or contact information with the relevant restaurant or party when you make a booking or otherwise authorise such access to your information. 

We will use and share selected access to behavioural information generated by dining.io and its related applications to deliver personalised experiences and for aggregated analytics purposes. Your personal information will never be accessible to any party using our analytics services.

We will only retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. To determine the appropriate retention period for your information, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your information, the purposes for which we process your information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.

In some circumstances we may anonymize information about you (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use and retain this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

If your account is closed, we may take steps to delete certain information, but we reserve our ability to retain and access the data for so long as required to comply with applicable laws. We will continue to use and disclose information in accordance with this privacy policy.
